About the Founder
I have been teaching Philosophy at the University of Peradeniya since 1990 and have been serving as a Visiting Research Professor at the Catholic University of America on Sabbatical leave and nominated SAARC Chair in Philosophy by the UGC and awarded Erasmus Experts Asia Fellow at the Masarik University in Europe. While serving at the University of Peradeniya I organized interdisciplinary seminars and international symposia and I have published widely on Philosophy of Art and Aesthetics, Immanuel Kant, Ananda Coomaraswamy, Rabindranath Tagore and Continental philosophy. I directed philosophy theatre productions and organized major academic events. My research interests include Kantian philosophy, Critical Theory, Eastern and Western philosophical Traditions, Philosophy of Art, Ananda Kentish Coomaraswamy as well Rabindranath Tagore, with global engagement, teaching excellence, intellectual leadership, mentorship, scholarship, dialogue, innovation in all these fields.

Our Vision
Understanding Philosophy in its original sense Philosophy as Total Vision or Wisdom guides us in every faculty of understanding for more meaningful integral creative approach. The aim of this website is to bring all the scholars, academics and like-minded friends to contribute for this forum to promote more meaningful understanding of Practical Philosophy as Wisdom/ Sophia which can contribute in each and every academic discipline to flourish more creatively and progressively for a beautiful world. Philosophy as Performance we can write more Philosophy Theater scripts along with Performances of Philosophy Plays, Poetry and Music as well as to bridge Eastern and Western Traditions through Discussions on Art, along with AKC’s Legacy.
Our Mission
Mission is to contribute Philosophy as Performance and explore, discuss in its original Platonic sense to create more Theater scripts based on Platonic Dialogues as well as all the Philosophical dialogues from Eastern Western Philosophical Traditions and the all the Philosophical Schools with our original Focus. Organizing some International Conferences on AKC and create works inspired by Ananda Kentish Coomaraswamy, Plato and other Philosophers fostering cross-cultural understanding with Live Philosophy Theater, Poetry and Music Performances.
